GRACE:
(Hesed [old testament]) deliverance from enemies, affliction, or adversity. Enablement, daily guidance, forgiveness, and preservation.
(Charis [new testament]) God’s unmerited favor. His love in action. Embodied by Jesus Christ and appropriated to believers.
Rejecting the Truth of Grace means rejecting the finished work of Jesus Christ. It is by Grace that we are saved through faith (simply trusting and believing in Jesus, that he is the Son of God). There is righteous kingdom power in Grace. Your help for every situation is in His Grace. His throne, His power, His authority is made manifest for you in His Grace. His Grace submerges us into the sovreign power of God–it enables us to walk in His fullness and live out our righteousness in Christ. It makes manifest possibility where human accomplishment is impossible. His Grace is absolutely sufficient for you today and always. It floods your areas of weakness and replaces them with His mighty strength. Trust Him. Set your heart on His Grace and let Grace carry you. It is made available to you by the ultimate sacrifice of love.
“For the [remarkable, undeserved] grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men.”
–Titus 2:11 (AMP)
“For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God; not as a result of [your] works [nor your attempts to keep the Law], so that no one will [be able to] boast or take credit in any way [for his salvation].”
–Ephesians 2:8-9(AMP)
“This righteousness of God comes through faith in Jesus Christ for all those [Jew or Gentile] who believe [and trust in Him and acknowledge Him as God’s Son]. There is no distinction, since all have sinned and continually fall short of the glory of God, and are being justified [declared free of the guilt of sin, made acceptable to God, and granted eternal life] as a gift by His [precious, undeserved] grace, through the redemption [the payment for our sin] which is [provided] in Christ Jesus, whom God displayed publicly [before the eyes of the world] as a [life-giving] sacrifice of atonement and reconciliation (propitiation) by His blood [to be received] through faith…”
–Romans 3:22-25(AMP)
“The grace of the Lord Jesus (the Christ, the Messiah) be with all [the saints—all believers, those set apart for God]. Amen.”
Revelation 22:21
