Morning Meditation: Don’t Reject The Mercy of God…

MERCY: Compassion, lovingkindness, forbearance toward one who offends.

His mercies are freely poured into our lives. He is rich in abundance of mercy. Mercy is a product of His everlasting love for mankind. Just as His love is unconditional, so is His tender Mercy. This beautiful free gift is extended to every believer (those who don’t believe even taste His mercy as well). So graciously, our God’s great kindness towards us is fortified with Grace, Mercy and Peace that can only come from above. His mercy is perfect. His mercy also perfects.

Don’t allow the enemy to deceive you into rejecting HIS GIFT of TENDER MERCY in exchange for your own outward behavior modification. The tendency is to influence believers that they no longer need mercy–as if it’s only for the new believer or for those who don’t believe. All good things come only from above and that includes His compassion for you in every area of weakness. Remember, that your life is in Christ alone. His mercy and grace are what conform us to Himself and strengthen us in our weaknesses.

Recieve the gift of mercy and see the cleansing power of the fullness of His love active in every part of your life as a believer. The Mercy and Grace of God are foundational to who we are and should not be taken for granted or rationed. Mercy is absolutely necessary and cannot be overused or exhausted. Our heavenly Father–Abba–knows best what we need and He always provides more than enough. Recieve His mercy as a free gift. It’s readily available. There is no shame in experiencing His merciful love and kindness. His love absolutely and completely covers us. Trust Him and take rest in His promises.

“Grace, mercy, and peace (inner calm, a sense of spiritual well-being) will be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son, in truth and love.”
–2 JOHN 1:3 (AMP)

“But when the goodness and kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared [in human form as the Man, Jesus Christ], He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we have done, but because of His own compassion and mercy, by the cleansing of the new birth (spiritual transformation, regeneration) and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out richly upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior…”
–TITUS 3:4-6 (AMP)

“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved) …””
–EPHESIANS 2:4-5. (AMP)

But the wisdom from above is always pure [or ‘holy’], filled with peace, considerate and teachable. [A beautiful concept that means “easy to correct” or “ready to be convinced” or “willing to yield to others.”] It is filled with love
[As translated from the Aramaic. The Greek is “mercy] and never displays prejudice or hypocrisy in any form [Or “never wears a mask.”] and it always bears the beautiful harvest of righteousness! Good seeds of wisdom’s fruit will be planted with peaceful acts by those who cherish making peace.
