Morning Meditation: Basking In Glory, Cradled In Love, Hidden In Christ

When you find yourself preoccupied with ‘purpose’, overwhelmed with duty, and distracted by the every day cares of life, JUST STOP.

Take a deep breath and set your heart and mind on Jesus. He is seated at the right hand of the Father, basking in Glory, emanating the deepest love and care for you. He has already given you everything you need according to life and godliness. He has already taken care of you and nestled you into Heavenly places along with Him in that same Glory of God, under His tender wings of Grace, Love, and Mercy.

His grace is so much more than enough for you. It’s in abundant supply rushing to your rescue and inundating your human weaknesses with His supernatural power!! He has satisfied your once hungry soul with His delectable love and scrumptious mercy. You share in His great love, so much so that His kingdom light shines through you, even in the darkness of this world. You’re cradled in the warm embrace of His unfailing love. His presence is your domicile and your refuge. Exhale now. Rest in His finished work with confidence, you’re hidden in Christ. He’s carrying you-let the load go.

The Loving-kindness of God
“Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens; your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the ocean depths.
You care for people and animals alike, O Lord.
How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings. You feed them from the abundance of your own house, letting them drink from your river of delights. For you are the fountain of life, the light by which we see.”
–Psalm 36: 5-9 NLT

Taste And See That The Lord is GOOD!
“I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart. Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt his name together. I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles. For the angel of the Lord is a guard; he surrounds and defends all who fear him. Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! Fear the Lord, you his godly people, for those who fear him will have all they need. Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing.”
Psalm 34: 1-10 (NLT)
