Morning Meditation: Striving to Get To Heaven…

If is asked you where you are right now, you would probably say that you are sitting somewhere quietly reading this. You are probably comfortable in the safety of your home or at your desk at work. That’s an easy answer.

What if I told you that you are seated with Christ–in heavenly places? Would you believe me or would you tell me that it’s impossible because you haven’t made it to heaven yet? Perhaps you’re still striving to get there. For many believers, the goal of Christianity is making it to heaven.

I just want you to know today, you’re already there. Believer, you’re sealed with the Holy Spirit. Jesus’ precious blood has positioned you there with Him and IN HIM. Rest in what His perfectly finished work had provided you. Rest where His shed blood has relocated you. He’s placed you in perfect relationship with the Father, forever in His presence, eternally in His grip and abounding in His awesome Grace by virtue of His Love for you!!

Have a revelation of your proximity to Christ. Location, Location, Location!! He is the person of Grace and you are IN HIM and He is IN YOU!! Christ is your life. He is your redemption. He is your breath and sustenance. Grace, Love and Truth is your new address!! You are planted in the heart of Grace, Love and Truth. Open your eyes, get to know JESUS!!

“In this [union and fellowship with Him], love is completed and perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him]; because as He is, so are we in this world.”
–1 John 4:17 (AMP)

“But God, being [so very] rich in mercy, because of His great and wonderful love with which He loved us, even when we were [spiritually] dead and separated from Him because of our sins, He made us [spiritually] alive together with Christ (for by His grace—His undeserved favor and mercy—you have been saved from God’s judgment). And He raised us up together with Him [when we believed], and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, [because we are] in Christ Jesus, [and He did this] so that in the ages to come He might [clearly] show the immeasurable and unsurpassed riches of His grace in [His] kindness toward us in Christ Jesus [by providing for our redemption]. ”
–Ephesians 2:4-7 (AMP)

“Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in [union with] Him [reflecting His character in the things you do and say—living lives that lead others away from sin], having been deeply rooted [in Him] and now being continually built up in Him and [becoming increasingly more] established in your faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing in it with /gratitude./” /Colossians 2:7 As translated from the Aramaic. The Greek states “overflowing with gratitude.”/
–Colossians 2:6-7 (AMP)

“Your //crucifixion// with Christ has severed the tie to this life, and now your true life is hidden away in God in Christ. And as Christ himself is seen for who he really is, who you really are will also be revealed, for you are now one with him in his glory! //The Aramaic could be translated “Your death and your life are both hidden with the Messiah in God.”//”
–Colossians 3:3-4 (TPT)
